The car was delivered new in Daytona Yellow and is said to have been refinished at some point in the 1990s. Features include black top stripes, a front lip, a cowled hood, chrome-finished bumpers, and a rear spoiler.
Silver-finished 15″ wheels wear beauty rings and Chevrolet hubcaps and are mounted with Goodyear Polyglas GT white-letter tires.
The black interior was refreshed with replacement seat covers. Features include bucket seats with headrests, a rear bench, and a woodgrain-trimmed console. A Chevrolet-branded AM radio is mounted to the right of the steering column.
A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges ahead of the shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 7k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 302ci V8 was advertised at 290 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque when new. The engine was removed from the car, and the seller states that the following work was performed:
- Cylinders overbored, deck surfaces machined
- Block stripped and refinished in PPG acrylic urethane orange
- Forged high-compression pistons installed
- Connecting rods, bearings, and main bolts replaced
- Cylinder heads stripped and refinished
- Three-angle valve job performed
- Valves, springs, and guides replaced
- Double-roller timing set installed
- Comp Cams 30-30 camshaft installed
- Holley carburetor dynamometer tuned
- PerTronix ignition module installed
- MSD ignition coil and spark-plug wires installed
- AC Delco spark plugs installed
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed Muncie manual transmission, which was rebuilt and installed in March 2021.
